It appears as though he has grown terribly tired of all the nonsense to do with [[Erik (Phantom)|Erik Phantom]]. When the new managers ask why he is retiring, he promptly replies "For my health". When [[Carlotta]], the resident diva, throws a tantrum, he very calmly says "Good luck. If you need me, I shall be in Frankfurt".
