Operetta is a character from the Monster High doll series by Mattel. First introduced in 2010, she is the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera, a phantom, and a student at Monster High.

Background[]

Operetta was born in France, but moved to New Goreleans at a young age with her family, living in a riverboat on the Mississippi and picking up on most of the culture. She lived there until she was 16, when her father gained a job as a teacher at Monster High. Much like her father did, she has a lair underneath the school in the catacombs, where she keeps an organ to practice her musical skills. She has a particular affinity for country and rock music, being a fan of Elvis Presley, and is a lover of rockabilly style. When she first came to the school, she was a loner and had a bit of a bad reputation but she eventually started gaining friends, and became a part of the Monster High organization.
